Welcome to Online Silk Painting

My name is Francine Dufour Jones and I'm really looking forward to working with you online.

The first class includes a lot of information about silk
painting materials, which I hope will become a useful reference.
Shopping for your materials is a learning process in itself, and
I've put your shopping list for the course at the end of this class, because you have some choices to make depending on your likes and dislikes. Once you have read about silks, dyes etc. it will make
more sense. After many years in silk painting I'm amazed and
still learning about new materials that come out almost daily!
(Well a little exaggeration...but quite often.)

If there's anything you don't understand please e-mail me for
advice at do4silks@gmail.com. In the subject it would be helpful if you say "question".

After reading this go to classes then start class 1, week 1.
You may access the main sections from the home page from anywhere on the class. Classes are put up each Sat. .

Use this week to learn, order your supplies explore the class and start getting inspired. Check out the sections on inspiration where you can visit sites of other silk painters many of who have been my inspiration.
